5 Cars That Help Us Sell OEM Wheels!

Blackburn OEM Wheels offers factory replacement wheels, hubcaps and center caps to large corporations and end users alike. There is usually a very strong correlation in between the sales of a specific car model and our business. In other words, the more popular the car, the more often people need to buy wheel replacements. It’s not that these wheels are inferior, but the sheer popularity of the following car models simply means more wheels are on the road, prone to wear and tear, damage and eventually a wheel, no matter whether it is OEM alloy wheels or steelies, will need to be replaced. The trick is trying to make it last as long as possible. We’d like to thank the following car models for being so popular and helping us sell so many wheels!

1. Ford F150

The Ford F-150 is the best selling truck of all time, and the F-series of trucks has been setting sales records since the 1970s. The Ford F-150 is known as a workhorse truck, and was even driven to work daily by Sam Walton for the last 12 years of his time as the leader of Wal-Mart. If it’s good enough for a billionaire, it’s good enough for us!

2. Honda Accord

The Honda Accord was first released by Honda in 1976, and it offered an appealing balance of gas mileage and dependability while meeting the very basic needs of consumers at the time. The Honda Accord has been listed in Car & Drivers’ top 10 list a record 30 times.

3. Honda Civic

If it weren’t for the Honda Civic, Honda likely would have stepped out of the auto manufacturing business. Dwindling market shares led to the inception of the new Honda Civic which was released in 1972. It was immensely successful due to its super efficient engine which got very good gas mileage at a time when gasoline prices had just begun rising exponentially. The Honda Civic was immediately very popular and saved Honda from having to exit the auto business. Can you imagine a world without Hondas on the roads? Neither can we, and we’re thankful they are, because we sell a lot of OEM Honda wheels!

4. Toyota 4 Runner

The Toyota 4Runner is a mid-size SUV that was first released in 1984 but became very popular in the late 1990s. There are a ton of 4Runners on the road today, and due to Toyota’s reliability and durability some of them are quite old SUVs. The third generation, launched in 1995, helped cater to an increased desire for SUVs among American consumers and helped maintain Toyota’s place as one of the premiere automakers selling cars in the USA.

5. Jeep Wrangler

The Jeep Wrangler is one of the most beloved cars in American history, and is currently in generation three of its design. The Jeep Wrangler is a great all-wheel drive vehicle that can handle off-road conditions in stock form, and can be modified and upgraded in a number of ways for the off-roading enthusiast. It’s hard to drive down the street for 5 minutes without seeing a Wrangler, which is probably why we sell so many OEM Jeep Wrangler wheels. We’re not complaining!

We don’t know where we’d be if it weren’t for the above mentioned car models! Of course, if they were’t around there’d be another vehicle, but that doesn’t mean we can’t say thank you to these popular car models for what they’ve done for our business.
